Checking out the foliage!

It was a cold day in DFW (by DFW standards). I rode the canal path by my home and the Campion Trail to check out the foliage. Trees around here still got some leaves and color on them.

This first picture was taken right behind the Irving Public Library in Valley Ranch. If you are ever in this neighborhood, check out Bruno's Ristorante. They got some good eats and the view from the restaurant, of the canal, is very pleasing. I think the owner plays the Piano for dinner. White linen, sit down meal - well you get the idea!
Still hanging around the library! The path along the canal is great for jogging, cycling and walking.
Further up the path getting closer to VR Pkwy East! Nice and calm!
 Campion Trail - View Uno!
I laid down on the ground to take this photo. I think it turned out nicely.
If you ride the Nature Path/Walk portion of the Campion, you almost always learn something new. Today's lesson was about this really tall Hackberry tree.
Here is more information about the tree!
It was a cold day and I rode 15 miles, but to my heart's content. It was an enjoyable ride!!

Hope your day was a great one!

Peace :)
