Yesterday morning, I started bright and early and rode a short 25 miler around my neck of the woods. I rode my usually Valley Ranch, Royal and Campion Trail route.
I finished around 10 AM before it got too hot. I haven't ridden the Americano in a while. Having ridden Brahma and the Nomad, I have gotten acclimated to the upright riding position. While the Americano also affords multiple hand positions on its handlebar, it is still much different. The other big difference between the Americano and my other bikes is that the Americano is my only bike with only a derailleur; Brahma has both an IGH and a derailleur.
All said and done, yesterday's ride was refreshing, to say the least. I was a bit apprehensive of the heat, but we had a couple of "very cold" days by North Texas standards; it was only in the 90s, the last two days :)
