Please do not screw me out of Torx

In a recent post, I wrote about some minor adjustments that I made to the Schlumpf Speed Drive on my Brompton, here and here. Haberstock Mobility kindly agreed to send me some spare Torx bolts for my Schlumpf Speed Drive and they did. In fact, the Torx bolts were sent by LuftPost Priority Mail.

However, I was flabbergasted to find out the envelope had been tampered with, by someone, along the way. And, the Torx bolts were gone.

The Torx bolts were sent in a plastic zip-loc bag, but that bag was torn open; intentionally tampered with.

Here is a picture showing all the details; of the torn zip-loc bag, torn envelope.

I have to wonder who would do such a unkind thing.

Possibilities include:

  1. Customs
  2. Luftpost
  3. USPS
  4. some unkind individual
I suppose I will never know.

On the positive side, I contacted Haberstock Mobility and explained to them what happened. They too were surprised that such a thing would happen. But, they promised to send a replacement, at their cost, once again. Thank you, Haberstock Mobility!

Peace :)
