One Cat's Story about How to Deal with Scary Television Shows

Hello -
I am Rambo, the youngest cat in our family.

What you are about to learn may be shocking and scary. So, brace yourselves.

As a young and sociable cat, I enjoy spending time with my parents.
Especially, since my Dad and Mom stream comedies, satires and such, after Dinner.
I get to lay on the couch and I even let them pet me.
Mind you not my dinner - ahem!

But, recently my parents got hooked on some British Detective shows.
I was okay with Foyle's War, Inspector Morse and even Endeavour.
Sometimes, these shows got a bit too much for me, you know?
I would close my eyes and pretend I was not in the same room.
And, sometimes, I would force myself to sleep deeply.

However, I had a difficult time when they binge watched all 18 Seasons of Midsomer Murders.
They just finished the last episode this week.
Midsomer was too much Barnaby for me.
I had to bury my face in my paws, so I didn't have to watch all that gore.
There I have finally said this in public :)

  1. Never thought I'd have so much in common with a cat :-)

  2. My sentiments exactly!
    Have a wonderful week-end!

  3. Ha ha!! I couldn't agree more. My husband has the whole series of Midsummer Murders, but I'm with Rambo on this one!:))

  4. Hello, Rambo! I would be burying my face too during those horrible scenes. Cute kitty and wonderful photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  5. Such a funny little kitty story! Poor cat watching 18 shows! My dogs have had to put up with the same thing at times

  6. Poor Rambo would see the same shows here I fear!

  7. Oh Rambo is so precious and wonderful photography ~ thanks ~

    Wishing you a gentle weekend ~ ^_^

  8. Your mommy and daddy watch the same shows we watch! You must have an awesome mommy and daddy.

  9. Rambo, what you did not see was that I could not watch either! It was all 'Father-Cat's' doing .... Love, 'Mother Cat' Paw Bump

  10. Just don't let your parents ever take you on a vacation to Midsomer. That place is darn dangerous for a bunch of small least three or four gory murders a week! ))). But they save a lot of money by not having very many trials, since the bad guy usually dies too.

  11. you are such a darling .
keep being adorable and well behaved

Thank you for your visit and comments. I read all comments and I appreciate them all.
