Allô, Aloe

On our walk, the Huntress and I spotted this succulent plant. The shadows cast by the plant and water droplets on which caught my eye this morning.

As I didn't have a camera with me, I came back home, left the huntress at home and went back to the location on my own to capture the following images.
Different view highlighting a different set of nuances.
I tried to identify the plant using Google, spending little time on the research.
I wonder if it is an Aloe plant.

It is a not-so-hot and lovely weekend in North Texas.
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend.

Have a Happy Weekend!
Peace :)

  3. It is beautiful...I am wondering what it is, too. I have had aloe, and the leaves were thicker, and sort of spotted. But there might be different varieties. So this just might be.

  6. It LOOKS like an Aloe. We had one when we lived in SoCal. A good test is to break a leaf and see if the sap seems therapeutic. It's a milky excretion.
