Shadows from the trail and elsewhere

Photo of Lea and BK from our days in Saint Louis.

Found a new shortcut that offers some shade for torrid summer day cycle commuting.
The asphalt is in disrepair in some parts of this Multi User Path (MUP), but I will take it.

Lastly a view of the shaded MUP off Edmonds Road. Not a soul on it most days, but then they all might have gotten smarter about the heat :)

Linking with Shadow Shot Sunday 2 and Saturday's Critters

  1. Hello, cute shadow shot of Lea and BK. Thanks for linking up! Enjoy your and new week ahead. PS, thanks for the comment.

  2. I can only imagine the heat you have!

  3. Lovely and a bit ghostly. I love the first one. I just had to have my 17-year-old cat put to sleep on Friday. He had an inoperable tumor which metastasized. I only have one cat left and won't be bringing more pets into my life. I think back on the cats I've had during my life. Sometimes I am quite sure they are still with me.
Perhaps the second image might be the cat and dog's owner. These images really spark the imagination!

    1. Hi Cara-
Thank you for visiting me. I am so sorry about the loss of your kitty. We have lost a couple of cats to tumors/cancer. I know how hard it can be to lose a loved one.
      I don't have Google Plus.
      Again, thanks for your visit.

  4. Wonderful shadows and great finding the trail to drive in shadows!

  5. Shadows often work best in B/W photos. These surely do!

  6. Blessings......
My God sons love to play with their shadow.
come to think of it I use to love doing that too when i was a youngling
